How We Operate

While we customize our test for each product -- identifying the best environment, climate, testers and questions to suit the specific goals of each assignment -- our general process follows this set of steps:

PFT gathers data on product and identifies targeted pool of field testers.
PFT submits Final Field Tester Evaluation Report to client, assessing overall performance of the product in its intended environment.
Client is given the option of submitting second-round prototypes to be sent to field testers for validation testing.
Client delivers product prototypes to PFT.
Field testers perform continued product trials and submit findings to PFT account management.
Client launches product.

PFT distributes product to testers.
PFT submits Initial Field Tester Evaluation Report to client, identifying obvious problems and flaws as well as any preliminary positive feedback.
Client confidently distributes product to trade publications for review.
Standardized test procedures, customized to client specifications and product characteristics, given to all field testers.
Field testers perform initial product trials and submit findings to PFT account management.
PFT maintains ongoing contact with client, submitting complimentary recommendations on new product ideas even after original test process is completed.
